Day 1 : Around Blois

43 km

After picking your bikes up at our shop, go to visit Blois castle and its multiple architectural styles. Do not forget to also visit its Beaux-Arts museum. Then, take your bikes to dicsover the Loire river and its ecosystem through a first ride.

Day 2 : Blois - Chambord - Blois

50 km

Today, follow the cycle path to Chambord. Visit this castle built by Francis the Ist as a hunting lodge. On the castle ground, you can find a Win House if you xant to taste some of them!

Day 3 : Blois - Cheverny - Blois

44 km

Today, you will discover the Sologne region while reaching Cheverny castle. Still inhabited, the castle is owned by the same family for 600 years! Near its entrance, you can find La Maison des Vins where you can taste AOC Cheverny - Cour-Cheverny wines. Then, come back to our shop and drop-off your bikes. Reach Amboise, where you will spend 2 nights. Our bikes will be delivered there for you to pick-up on the following morning.

Day 4 : Amboise - Vouvray - Amboise

48 km

This morning, you will visit Amboise castle which offers an amazing view on the city and the Loire river. Then, take a walk through its small streets. After, take your bikes for a stroll in the surrounding vineyards. Feel free to enter some of the local cellars (Maison des Producteurs, Maison Brédif...) to taste some wines!

Day 5 : Amboise - Chenonceau - Amboise

48 km

Discover some scenic panoramas while reaching Chenonceaux village where you will find one of the most beautiful Renaissance castle: Chenonceau. The castle has two French gardens and a park.

How to get here?

Your trip:

You will spend three days in Blois to discover Chambord, Cheverny and Blois castles. Then, head to Amboise for the last two days and discover its castle and Chenonceau.

How to arrive in Blois?

By train : Blois-Chambord Station. Our shop is at a 5 min. walk from the station.

By car: Highway A10, Blois/Vendôme exit

Promenade Edmond Mounin - at 850m from our shop / at 900m from Blois-Chambord station

Fee-paying parking lots:

Streets paking (4.80€ per day / 12€ ticket for 7 days)

By train: Amboise Station. Our partner is located at 20min walk from the station.

By car: Highway A10, Château-Renault/Amboise Exit.

We really enjoyed this tour in the Loire from Blois to Chenonceau. It was a memorable experience ! The organisation and the instructions was very easy. No problem with luggage transferts and the bike were good. Highly recommend!
