Day 1 : Tours - Villandry - Tours

  • 44 km
For this first day, follow the cycle path along the Cher river until you reach Villandry castle. Even if the castle is not extraordinary, its French gardens are stunning: take you time to discover all of them.

Day 2 : Tours - Amboise - Tours

  • 56 km
Cycle along the Loire river until you reach Amboise. You will visit its castle where Francis the 1st - who built Chambord - was raised. On the road, you will cycle through Montlouis-sur-Loire vineyards: feel free to stop at Cave des Producteurs in Montlouis-sur-Loire to taste some local wine!

Your trip:
Based in Tours, follow the bicycle paths and discover two major castles: Amboise et Villandry. You will cycle through a vivid countryside along the Loire river & the Cher river and witness the most amazing landscapes.
 
How to arrive in Tours?

By train : Tours Station. Our partner is located at a 10min walk from the station.

By car: Highway A10, Tours-Centre/St-Pierre-des-Corps Exit

Fee-paying parking lots:
Parking Indigo Tours Vinci Gare (reservation available, about 90€ for 7 days) - at 160m from our partner / at 220m from Tours station
Parking Indigo Champ Girault (reservation available, about 60€ for 7 days) - at 700m from our partner / at 350m from Tours station
