Day 1 : Around Amboise

  • 48 km
Start your journey by visiting Amboise castle where Francis the Ist - who built Chambord - was raised, stroll through Amboise city and its old streets. Then, you can take your bike for a ride: either go cycle in the surronding vineyard (and feel free to stop at local cellars to taste the local wines), or take a shorter trail.

Day 2 : From Amboise to Chenonceau castle

  • 48 km
Discover the countryside panoramas while going to Chenonceaux. Visit this extraordinary castle defined by an almost uninterrupted succession of women who built, embellished, protected, restored and saved it throughout history. Don't forget to take a walk in the French gardens and the park before going back to Amboise.

Day 3 : From Amboise to Chaumont-sur-Loire

  • 45 km
For this last day, go to Chaumont-sur-Loire using the cycle path running along the Loire river. The castle is known today as an art center hosting contemporary exhibitions. The most famous part of this site is without any doubt the International Garden Festival. But be careful as you will need at least 3 hours to discover the whole site.
